My Daily Musings Post-July 11th, 2026

Today’s thoughts were inspired by this quote from C.S. Lewis:

“Relying on God has to begin all over again every day as if nothing had yet been done.”

I think that’s one of the most honest descriptions of faith I’ve ever read. Trusting God isn’t something we do once and then never have to think about again. Every new day brings new joys, new worries, and new opportunities to choose faith over fear.

Some days, relying on Him feels natural. Other days, my faith wavers, and I struggle to trust His timing or understand His plan. I’m human, and my faith isn’t perfect. Yet one truth never changes: God is always there. He knows every detail of my life, loves me completely, and has a purpose for me—even when I can’t see it.

The beautiful thing is that every morning offers a fresh beginning. No matter how yesterday went, I can reach out to Him again, and He is there in an instant, ready to strengthen, guide, and comfort me.
