Featured Guest: A Conversation on Latter-day Lights
I recently had the honor of being a guest on the Latter-day Lights podcast. We sat down together—each in the quiet of our own homes—to discuss faith, the power of prose, and the stories behind the words I share here.
My episode is live now! Here are the links:
A Milestone of Vulnerability
Recording this episode was a true milestone for me. I found myself sharing parts of my journey that very few people, even those closest to me, have ever known. It was a vulnerable experience, but I felt the Spirit so clearly guiding my words, reminding me that our stories are meant to be shared so others know they aren’t alone.
The “Backstory and Takeaway”
During the episode, I share a couple of pieces that are very close to my heart. My hosts, Scott and Emily, noted how much they loved the “backstory and takeaway” format of my poetry. It gives a deeper look into the why behind the verses. In this episode, I share the backstories for The Road to My Own Emmaus (shared as “Abide with Me”) and Walking with God on a Lonely Road (shared as “Walking on a Lonely Road”). If you’d like to read them while you listen, you can find them right here:
A Note to My Subscribers
Sharing my story so openly was a milestone for me, and I’m so grateful for the warm response it has received. If you’ve had a chance to listen, I’d love to hear which part of the conversation resonated most with you. What topics would you love to see me explore more in future reflections?
