My Daily Musings-July 9th, 2026

“As a camel kneels before his master to have him remove his burden at the end of the day, so kneel each night and let the Master take your burden.” — Corrie Ten Boom

I have always loved this quote because it reminds me of the incredible gift of prayer. Every time I kneel before my Heavenly Father, I feel His love and know He is listening. I may never fully understand how He can hear the prayers of every one of His children at the same time, but I know He does. He is always there the moment we reach out to Him.

How often do we try to carry burdens that were never meant to be carried alone? What if, instead of holding on to them one more day, we placed them into the loving and capable hands of our Heavenly Father?

Some burdens are simply too heavy for us, but they are never too heavy for Him. He invites us to come to Him, to trust Him, and to leave our worries at His feet. He doesn’t grow weary of carrying our burdens because His love for us never grows weary.

Tonight, perhaps we can all kneel a little longer, trusting that the Master is more than able to carry what we cannot.
