A Nudge to Share

Thank you for subscribing-may these words bring a quiet moment of peace and reflection to your day.

My Daily Musings-September 18th, 2026

I have loved these verses in 2 Timothy 1:7-8 for a long time.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord.”

When I first started posting on my website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel, I felt some fear. I doubted that anyone would want to hear from me. I told myself that my message wasn’t important. But I know now that those thoughts were not from my Heavenly Father. He didn’t put those negative thoughts in my head. I started this journey because I felt the nudge from the Spirit and my Heavenly Father to share what I had to say. I knew that He gave me this gift of writing and that I needed to share it. I hope that I have brightened your day through my messages and that your faith has been strengthened as well. Writing and sharing my thoughts has strengthened my faith.

Many years ago, when I was a missionary for my church, I learned not to be ashamed of the testimony my Heavenly Father had given me. From then on, especially the last few years of my writing journey, I have tried to testify whenever I could.

I believe that we can each strengthen others when we share our faith journeys with them. Sometimes our experiences may be similar and sometimes they are different. But my advice to you is to share your faith and experiences and don’t be ashamed of your testimony.

Some days, I still doubt that I am making a difference in people’s lives through my writing. But then I feel the nudge from my Heavenly Father telling me that I am. That’s enough for me.

Have you ever felt afraid or hesitant to share your faith with others? What helped you move past that fear? Has someone ever shared their faith or testimony with you at a time when you needed it most?
