Fear Doesn’t Get the Final Say

My Daily Musings-June 17th, 2026

“Fearless doesn’t mean no fear. It means you refuse to let fear stop you.”

Living with chronic illness has taught me that fear doesn’t simply disappear. The fear of not knowing how I’ll feel tomorrow, what new symptom might appear, or what challenges may lie ahead can sometimes linger in the background of my mind.

But I love the reminder in this quote that being fearless doesn’t mean never feeling afraid. It means choosing not to let fear have the final say.

Faith gives us another voice to listen to. Instead of focusing on the unknown, we can focus on the blessings we have today. Instead of letting fear direct our path, we can trust that God is walking beside us and guiding our steps.

What fears are you carrying right now? How might your life look different if you gave those fears to God and trusted Him a little more today?

As we place our trust in our Heavenly Father and His plan for our lives, we can move forward with faith—even when we don’t know what tomorrow holds.
