My Daily Musings-July 10th, 2026

While listening to the audiobook Along the Rio Grande by Tracie Peterson, one character felt he had sinned too much to ever be loved by God. Another gently reminded him of Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee.” That simple verse touched my heart. God knew every choice we would ever make before we were even born, yet He chose to love us anyway.

Isn’t that an incredible thought?

Before we took our first breath, our Father already knew us. He knew every joy we would experience, every mistake we would make, every weakness we would struggle with, and every time we would need His grace. None of it has ever caught Him by surprise.

Have you ever wondered if you’ve wandered too far for God to still love you? Or questioned whether your past has somehow changed the way He feels about you?

The answer is no.

Our Father has always known us completely, and He has always loved us completely. His love isn’t based on a perfect record; it’s rooted in His perfect character. No matter how far we may wander, He continues to invite us to come home. We can never place ourselves beyond the reach of His love.

What a comforting thought—to be fully known and still be fully loved.

The Perfect Circle of Love

Backstory:
While listening to the audiobook Where the Blue Sky Begins by Katie Powner, I was touched by the story of Eunice, a terminally ill woman who creates a list of people she wants to ask for forgiveness before she dies. Her journey reminded me of the importance of our earthly relationships, but it also pointed me toward a greater truth: our relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ matters most. I believe God gave us relationships with family and friends to help turn our hearts toward Him. As we learn to love Him more and receive His perfect love, we become more like Him and learn to love others more deeply. It becomes a perfect circle of love—His love flows to us, through us, and back to Him.

The Perfect Circle of Love

Our Heavenly Father sent us to this earth
So that we can discover our Divine worth.
We are His children and He loves us very much,
And anytime we need it, we can feel His loving touch.

He showers down His grace and blessings from above,
And gave us families so we can learn to love.
He sends us friends, angels in this life
So that we won’t feel so much strife.

As we draw closer to our Father up in Heaven,
His peace and grace are freely, deeply given.
Our Father showed us His love by sending us the One
Who sacrificed His life for us as the Beloved Son.

As we draw closer to Jesus, our Savior,
His grace begins to refine our behavior.
We will see others through a more Heavenly View
As we go about serving those around us as our Savior would do.

As we draw closer to Their Holy light,
They guide our steps and turn our weakness into might.
As we grow like Them, we love our fellowmen, 
And serving others brings Their love back down again.

The Takeaway: The greatest relationship we can build is our relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. As we abide in Their love and allow Them to change our hearts, every other relationship in our lives can be strengthened. The more we receive Their perfect love, the more we are able to share that love with others. Love begins with God, flows through us, and returns us back to Him.

The Love That Never Lets Go

Backstory:
This week, my mom and I memorized Romans 8:38-39 together. The more I repeated these verses, the more I realized how comforting and powerful they are. Life brings hardships, losses, fears, and unanswered questions, and sometimes those things can make us feel distant from God. But Paul reminds us that our circumstances do not determine God's love for us. Because of Jesus Christ, nothing in this life or the next can separate us from His unfailing love. 

The Love That Never Lets Go

Nothing can separate us from the love of God,
He is constantly cheering us on in our cheer squad.
Death can’t separate us from Him, Because of His Beloved Son,
For He fought the good fight and the victory over death was won.

Our Father will always be there no matter what happens in life,
Even if our troubles seem so big and full of strife.
No force, seen or unseen is greater than our Father’s love,
For He showers it upon us from up above.

We don’t need to worry or stress about today or tomorrow 
Because our Father has us in His hands so we can go with the flow.
There is no mountain so high and no valley so deep
Where He cannot find us because we are His Beloved Sheep.

There may be times when we might feel alone
Like we are walking on a road on our own.
But His love is always with us no matter where we are
And His loving touch can heal our every scar.

Our Father knew we would occasionally fall,
So He sent His Son to suffer for us all.
The love of our Father because of His Son,
Shines its beautiful rays upon us like the sun.

The Takeaway: There may be seasons when we feel alone, forgotten, or overwhelmed, but God's love remains constant. No trial is too deep, no future too uncertain, and no power too great to separate us from Him. In Christ, we are forever held in the embrace of a love that never lets go.

Bulletproof Faith

My Daily Musings-May 29th, 2026

Sometimes life tests us in ways we never expected. I recently watched a Touched By an Angel episode where Monica said that the only thing truly bulletproof is faith—faith in God, not in ourselves or anyone else. That thought stayed with me.

Is my faith strong enough to withstand the hardest days? When discouragement, fear, or unanswered prayers come, do I still trust that Heavenly Father is near?

I know I have moments when I struggle, especially with my health. But when I look back over my life, I can see that faith has carried me through every difficult season. Even on the days when my strength feels small, God’s love and presence remain steady. He is always there, waiting for me to reach out to Him in prayer.

Maybe bulletproof faith doesn’t mean never doubting or never struggling. Maybe it means continuing to hold on to God, even in the middle of the storm.

My Daily Musings-March 5th, 2026

Some days are harder than others.

There are moments when life feels overwhelming and lonely—when we wonder if anyone truly understands what we’re carrying. I’ve had days like that, especially when my health struggles make me feel discouraged or misunderstood.

But in those quiet moments when I turn to prayer and reach out to my Heavenly Father, something changes. I’m reminded that He hears me. I feel His presence, and the loneliness begins to soften.

C.S. Lewis once wrote:
“God has infinite attention for each one of us. He doesn’t have to take us in the line. You’re as much alone with Him as if you were the only thing He’d ever created.”

That thought amazes me. My human mind can’t fully understand how He can give such personal attention to each of His children—but I know He does. I’ve felt it in my darkest moments, when His light found me and reminded me I wasn’t alone.

Have you ever felt that quiet reassurance after praying?
When life feels heavy, do you remember that you can speak honestly with Him about how you feel—even your frustrations?

Our Father in Heaven always understands. He is always listening. And no matter the time of day or the depth of our struggle, we are never alone when we reach out to Him.
