Backstory:
I have days when I feel better about myself than other days. Then I have days when evil and destructive thoughts get into my head, thoughts that tell me I am not enough and what I’m doing is not important. Those thoughts come from Satan. He doesn’t want me to feel like I am enough. He wants me to feel the opposite, that I am never enough and that I am never going to be enough. Sometimes when those thoughts get in my mind it is hard for me to realize that those aren’t good thoughts and that they come from Satan. It is hard to get those thoughts out of my head. But it helps me to realize where those thoughts come from and that I can get those thoughts out of my mind and replace them with better thoughts. My loving Heavenly Father will always help me feel like I am enough. He loves me the way I am for He created me. I am prone to depression and it is not easy some days to feel good about myself. But it is possible to change those thoughts and feelings.
Light Overcomes Darkness
In this world we are definitely in a battle of evil vs. good,
But we know that in the end good always triumphs and that is sometimes misunderstood.
There is an adversary in this world that wants us to not do what we should,
He doesn’t want good to triumph and he doesn’t want that to be understood.
I can feel when evil thoughts are in my mind,
Sometimes I have thoughts that to myself are not kind.
Then it is hard to recognize that it’s happening and it’s hard not to be in my mind blind,
And afterwards I can more clearly see than in the moment I can find.
There are times when I feel down on myself and I fail to remember the good things about me,
Then I get into a cycle that is hard to get out of and to more clearly see.
But then I remember that I am not really living up to who I can truly be,
And when I feel like this I just need to get on bended knee.
Yes there is an evil one who wants me to not reach my full potential,
And he wants me to feel like I am not special.
He just gets into my head and I have to be really careful,
So that in my head he cannot be successful.
There is also a good force that will always help me feel like I am more than adequate,
My Heavenly Father is always my biggest advocate.
He will always help me feel like I am enough because He is so compassionate,
And He will help me through difficult times even when I feel inadequate.
The Takeaway: I think we all have times when we might feel inadequate or like we aren’t worth very much. Those kinds of thoughts are not good and we need to get them out of our heads. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much individually and He will share that love with us anytime we need it.
