A Morning Remedy

My Daily Musings-Jan.16,2026

If you know me well, you already know that I have found a passion in writing the last few years. I constantly have thoughts and feelings going through my head that I have to write down.

Even though I have many trials in my life, some that I have been dealing with for many years, I try to be grateful for the many blessings I have in my life.

So today, I have been thinking about how important prayer is in my life. I try to remember to pray in the morning after I wake up. Then I pray a few more times during the day by myself.

This morning, a few hours after I woke up, I realized that I never said my morning prayer to my Heavenly Father. So I had to remedy that. I really feel like I can’t make it through every day without praying. My testimony of prayer has really grown through the difficult times in my life.

I just hope that everyone reading this knows that their Heavenly Father is aware of their situation in life, that He wants them to commune and talk to Him and that He will hear and answer their prayers. I feel His love every time I pray.

Here are a couple questions to ask yourself: Do you have a morning habit or a specific moment of connection that helps you feel ready to face the world? For those of you going through a difficult season right now, how has your relationship with your Heavenly Father changed or supported you?
