My Daily Musings-June 2nd, 2026

I was recently reminded that Jesus Christ has all power. As humans, we sometimes doubt, especially when we are in the middle of difficult trials. We may feel alone, misunderstood, or like no one truly knows what we are going through. I’ve felt that way at times, especially with my recent health struggles.

But the beautiful truth is that we are never alone. Even when those around us don’t fully understand our challenges, the Savior does. Through His Atonement, Jesus Christ experienced every pain, sorrow, struggle, and heartache so He could perfectly understand how to help and strengthen us. He knows exactly what we are facing because He has already carried it.

How might our burdens feel different if we remembered that the Savior truly understands every detail of our struggles? What would change if we turned to Him first for the strength and healing we need?

Jesus Christ knows us perfectly. He knows our individual needs, our fears, and our hopes. And because He has all power, He also knows how to help us heal, grow, and move forward one step at a time.

My Daily Musings-May 14th, 2026

One of my favorite reminders from scripture is that even in His greatest agony, Jesus Christ was not abandoned by His Father.

As the Savior suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane for our sins, sorrows, pains, and sicknesses, Luke records this tender moment:

“And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.”
—Luke 22:43–44

I have always been amazed that even though Jesus was divine and perfect, He still chose to feel every pain so completely. The Father allowed Him to experience suffering fully so that He could truly understand us. Because of that, there is no loneliness, heartbreak, fear, sickness, or sorrow we face that He does not already understand perfectly. What comfort does it bring to know that the Savior has already walked through every kind of pain before us?

I also love that Heavenly Father did not leave His Beloved Son to suffer without help. He sent an angel to strengthen Him so He could continue the sacred work He had been called to do. And I believe our Father in Heaven still does that for us today. Maybe angels come through people who listen, kind words at the right moment, quiet strength during hard days, or feelings of peace when we are overwhelmed. Have you ever felt Heaven strengthening you when you thought you could not keep going?

That truth brings me so much comfort: if Heavenly Father sent help to His Son in Gethsemane, He will also send help to us in our moments of need.
