Light doesn’t simply exist alongside darkness—it pushes it back.

Even the smallest flame—a candle, a spark—changes the whole feeling of a dark room. It brings warmth, clarity, and peace. Darkness doesn’t stand a chance once light is present.

Maybe that’s why our Heavenly Father created a world where light is never completely gone. Even in the deepest night, we are given the moon and stars to remind us that darkness is never absolute.

So why do we sometimes believe it is in our own lives?

Jesus Christ is the Light of the world—a light that cannot be overcome or dimmed. When we draw closer to Him, even just a little, His light begins to chase away the darkness in our hearts and minds.

What small step can you take today to move closer to His light?

And where in your life might you already see His light quietly shining, even if things still feel dim?
