Backstory:

I have always loved music and loved to sing, since before I can remember. I was in voice lessons when I was 12 years old. Then I was in choirs from middle school through college. I think music is very applicable to our lives. There are many lessons we can learn through music. One of those is that our Loving Heavenly Father is our Master Choir Director. We are all the choir members. Even though we have different talents, we are all needed and belong in His Heavenly Choir.

The Master Choir Director

In a choir, you will notice that there are different parts,

From high sopranos to low basses who sing off the charts.

Different singers also carry different sounds with their unique voice.

Sometimes one section carries the melody and sometimes another but together they can all rejoice.

All the singers contribute to the beautiful sound,

And then through them is beautiful music found.

As long as they have the same purpose in mind,

And as long as they are unified the whole choir can really shine.

We can all be a part of the Heavenly Choir,

No auditions would our Loving Father require.

All that He would require is a willing mind and heart,

As long as we all are intent on singing our unique part.

Then under the direction of the Master Choir Director,

Even the softest and most timid of voices would sound much better.

For our all-knowing director in His realm of expertise,

Would help us all feel amazing like a glorious autumn breeze.

We are all needed and wanted for our unique talents,

Even though we might feel that our efforts are just little insignificant fragments.

Our Loving Father made us all different for a reason,

So that we could help each other and make beautiful music in our different season.

The Takeaway: Our Loving Heavenly Father made us all unique and different for a reason. He loves us all. We are all needed in this life for our differences. Together with our Father as our Master Choir Director, we can make this life beautiful and joyful. We can count on Him to be by our side to help us along the way.
